The room
In Sheep’s Clothing connects a Los Angeles hi-fi music platform with a history of dedicated listening spaces. Its original Arts District bar and later NeueHouse residency explored different systems, making its story as much about changing rooms and equipment as a continuing devotion to records.
The Arts District installation paired Klipsch horns with vintage-style analogue playback; the 2021 residency took a different route through Graham monitors and EAR electronics. These are chapters in the project’s history, rather than a single permanent installation.

Browse this venue’s gear ↗The original Arts District bar used Klipschorn AK6 mains and modified Heresy speakers at the bar. Audio Note Jinro Shochu and M5 electronics served the main installation, with a McIntosh 6100 also in the system. Two Garrard 301s carried 12-inch Schick arms in Vinylista plinths, alongside a Condesa rotary mixer.
The 2021 NeueHouse residency used a different combination: Graham LS5/8 monitors with EAR 509 monoblocks and a 912 linestage/phono stage. These are separate historical installations, each with its own speaker and amplifier pairing.
