Shyboy HiFi — inside the system
Shyboy has three listening environments. The Main Room pairs OJAS × NNNN ON2 and NNNN Gage 125 loudspeakers with McIntosh electronics, Powersoft amplification and processing from Rupert Neve Designs and Manley.
The booth offers several rotary mixers, Technics vinyl playback and Pioneer DJ digital players, with its own NNNN monitoring. The Blue Room lists an OJAS chain including TAD loudspeakers, a Super-sub, Phonoplayer 1200G and April electronics.
How the system serves the room
Shyboy has separate Main Room, booth and Blue Room systems. OJAS × NNNN ON2 and NNNN Gage speakers form the main installation, with Powersoft amplification and a substantial selection of source and processing equipment. The booth has its own monitors and bass support.
The Blue Room’s OJAS/TAD and valve-based chain represents another listening arrangement rather than spare components for the main room. Devices such as the Benchmark DAC, Manley equalizer and Rupert Neve processors perform different jobs; their presence does not establish the exact routing or settings used for every session.
