Denver drink room on a restored analogue path: Audio Grail-restored Garrard 401s with Thomas Schick 12-inch arms into a Condesa Carmen rotary and a pair of Line Magnetic 845IA single-ended Class A integrateds. Vintage Klipschorns on the floor, vintage lowboy Cornwalls on the back bar. 845 single-ended watts and Klipschorn efficiency are a classic pairing — huge tone, modest power, physical bass from the corners. Separate back-bar Cornwalls keep the service side in the same family without stealing the main pair’s corners.

How the system serves the room

ESP separates the main-floor Klipschorns from the lowboy Cornwalls behind the bar. Restored Garrard 401 decks and the Condesa Carmen feed Line Magnetic single-ended amplifiers, making the source, control and power stages unusually visible parts of the venue’s concept.

Different speaker formats can accommodate different physical positions, but overlapping coverage still requires careful level matching. The horn-based mains are a plausible partner for the valve amplifiers; the published record does not establish which listening characteristics motivated the final choice.
