Million Goods — Greenpoint

The room

Million Goods opened on Franklin Street in 2024, bringing a menswear shop, wine bar and listening space under one roof. Founders Drew Kaufmann and Matt Reyer built the concept around the overlap between clothing and music subcultures, with records and visiting DJs giving a browsing trip a reason to turn into an evening.

The wine selection favours small growers and low-intervention production, accompanied by a short snack menu. DJ and producer selections run across multiple nights, while the shop carries clothing, accessories and homewares from independent labels. This is the original Greenpoint location; the larger Fort Greene branch has a separate sound system.

Sound system

Jonathan Perrelly of Sloped Systems designed the Greenpoint installation around speakers integrated into the interior. The custom horns were made in Hungary. This is a bespoke system, rather than a documented retail loudspeaker model.
