The room
Eavesdrop draws on the pleasure of friends gathering at home to share records. In Greenpoint, that idea becomes a listening bar for small groups, with drinks and Japanese-influenced food around the music. Co-founder Dan Wissinger’s living-room inspiration gives the venue an intimate social premise.

Browse this venue’s gear ↗House Under Magic’s Danny Taylor developed Eavesdrop’s system, acoustics, furniture and room as one project. Two custom-painted Danley SH60 Synergy Horns serve as mains, supported by two concealed Seaton Submersive S2 subwoofers, Bryston 7B SST amplification and a MasterSounds Radius 4V rotary mixer.
The SH60 brings low-, mid- and high-frequency drivers into a shared horn structure. Concealed bass cabinets and a diffusion wall integrate the audio work with the interior, keeping the loudspeaker system and the room treatment closely related.
