The floating/reflector layout is a custom answer to a restaurant: wide, even dispersion over tables instead of a single hot seat, with a finished cabinet that reads as furniture. Jazz and hip-hop share the room because the speakers were designed for it, not borrowed from a studio.

Café Wu’s KIKUNO Orbiter is documented as a floating two-way design with top and bottom reflectors. Those reflectors make the way sound is distributed around the cabinet a central part of the concept, relevant in a restaurant where listeners occupy several positions rather than one fixed seat.
A suspended or visually floating installation also keeps the loudspeaker integrated with the room’s architecture. Without polar measurements or an installation plan, the reflectors should not be taken as proof of uniform coverage; placement and room reflections still matter.
