Tune Audio

Tune Audio builds horn loudspeakers in Greece. Its large designs are represented in a private listening room associated with the directory.

Design & approach

Tune Audio develops horn loudspeakers for different room scales, including the Avaton and Epitome families. Its account of Avaton describes a multi-year development process balancing acoustic performance and physical form. That emphasis is relevant where a large horn system becomes a defining feature of a dedicated listening room.

Inside the system

The private listening room uses Tune Audio horn loudspeakers, a custom Éric Buy subwoofer, Aries Cerat valve amplification and a Soulines Kubrick turntable. The system serves the approximately ten-person room, separately from the public café. The horn mains and dedicated bass cabinet make low-frequency integration a significant part of this compact installation.
