Inside the system

Suspended 14-faced Listude loudspeakers form the installation’s most distinctive element. Built in Hokuto, Japan, their geometric enclosures hang above the counter; the exact model and any custom specification are unconfirmed. Dynakit Mark III amplification and a McIntosh MX110 valve preamplifier accompany a Clearaudio Concept Wood turntable with a Sumiko Blue Point No. 3 High cartridge. A vintage Meridian CD player adds a digital physical-media source, though its model is unspecified. The combination brings valve electronics, vinyl and CD playback into the same compact listening space.
