Houd Sound
Houd Sound brings woodworking and industrial design to loudspeaker making. Founded by David Sandoval and Gustavo Huertas, the Colombian company builds the speakers used at Bengala in Cali.
Design & approach
Hand-shaped wooden enclosures are a recurring feature of Houd’s work. Its range has included powered loudspeakers and acoustic phone amplifiers, alongside commissions such as speakers made from whiskey barrels.
Venue equipment records, including their original model uncertainties. Shared-system entries retain the full recorded context.
