This makes it relevant to venues whose cabinets are assembled or finished locally. The acoustic design and the physical cabinet build can have different authors, so those contributions are kept separate in our installation credits.

GR-Research X-CS Encore. Danny Richie’s sealed two-way from the Encore family: a pair of 16 Ω M-165 woofers wired in parallel for a nominal 8 Ω load, published 90 dB kit sensitivity (89 dB on the finished listing). Sold as a DIY kit, CNC flatpack or veneered finished box (cherry, oak, maple, mahogany, walnut or Duratex). Designed as the matching centre for the X-LS Encore monitor and the ported X-MTM Encore tower; the factory copy also allows it as left/right mains — the use at Bonsai HiFi. Iowa Park, Texas.
