Equipment in use

Dante’s uses vintage Cary valve amplification. No individual model is specified in the supplied installation information.

  • Amplification: Vintage tube amplifiers; models unspecified

Inside the system

Klipsch Cornwall mains sit alongside additional Klipsch speakers and subwoofers, Altec five-panel horns and vintage Cary valve amplification. Technics 1200-family decks use Isonoe isolators, with a MasterSounds Radius four-valve mixer and effects unit at the booth. The installation combines different loudspeaker roles with an analogue source chain. Isolation at the turntables addresses mechanical vibration reaching the playback equipment, a practical concern when vinyl shares a room with substantial loudspeakers.
