Historical equipment

Public Records’ published system includes BGW VXi3.3 amplifiers in the Sound Room and 750G and 100B units in the Bar Room.

  • Sound Room amplification / processing: Bias V9, Q2 and D1; pair of BGW VXi3.3; BSS processing (Void / BGW / BSS)
  • Bar Room amplification: Macro-Tech 5002; BGW 750G and 100B; analogue crossovers (Crown / BGW)

Inside the system

Public Records should be read as several installations. The indoor Sound Room uses substantial bass and midbass sections with horn-loaded upper frequencies; the Bar Room has its own speaker and amplifier chain; the outdoor Nursery uses the OJAS × NNNN four-way system.
