The Hi-Fi Atlas

Cookies & media choices

Analytics cookies, advertising permissions, embedded media and street maps are off until you allow them. Google Advanced Consent Mode can send limited cookieless measurement signals before consent and when analytics cookies are rejected. You can change your preferences.

Necessary storage

The first-party atlas_cc cookie stores consent choices and their revision for 180 days. It is shared between the main domain and www. Navigation can use session storage such as makerDirectory. The older atlas-consent-v1 preference is not used.

Analytics

Google loads before consent with analytics and advertising storage denied and can send cookieless measurement signals. With permission, Google Analytics may set _ga and _ga_* cookies to distinguish browsers and maintain sessions. Google receives page, device and connection information. Lifetimes and retention depend on the Analytics configuration. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep analytics off.

Advertising

The advertising choice updates Google consent signals for advertising storage, user data and personalization. The Google Ads tag (AW-1022858236) is installed. With advertising permission, page views are reported as Google Ads conversions. With analytics permission, page views and affiliate clicks appear as separate Google Analytics events. Affiliate clicks and ordinary external links do not trigger the current Ads conversion. Affiliate destination sites apply their own tracking rules.

Embedded media and maps

Allowing this category enables Instagram, YouTube, SoundCloud and OpenStreetMap connections. Providers can receive connection information and use their own cookies or storage. Original links remain available with this category off.

Changing your choices

Cookie preferences in the footer lets you accept, reject or change optional categories. Analytics and advertising choices update on the current page. Withdrawing embedded-media permission reloads the page to remove media providers from all open directory panes. Accessible first-party _ga and _gcl_ cookies are cleared when their categories are rejected. Browser controls can clear additional site data; previously received provider data is not erased.
